Two great interviews for you this week: ANDRE MATOS and HENNING BASSE.
Andre has just released his third solo album, 'The Turn of the Lights', which we discussed at length, but he took us back in time to his early work with Viper and Angra. He reminisces in particular about the recordings of those first 3 classic albums (VIPER - Soldiers of Sunrise and Theatre of Fate, ANGRA - Angels Cry), providing a level of detail about them that I've never heard or read before.
Henning most recently toured with Uli Jon Roth. He is also well-known for being the frontman of the now-defunct German band Metalium, with his most recent bands including Mayan and Sons of Seasons. He gives us a very personal look at his life in music, from joining on with Uli Jon Roth after a jam session to auditions with Gamma Ray and Savatage that didn't work out quite the way he had hoped.
Join me for these interviews along with plenty of music, including new releases such as ICED EARTH's 'Live in Ancient Kourion' and Gamma Ray's 'Master of Confusion'. I'll also be taking your requests by phone at 216-368-2208 and via Facebook.
